It is a direct replacement for the Samsung filter WSF100 & EF9603, Sometimes marked with 'Magic filter',

The filters should be changed when the indicator on the front panel turns on, or every six months regardless of how much water has been used through the filter, this is because harmful bacteria can build up after this time.
